You should keep in mind that your sublimation printer should be exclusively dedicated to this technique. It is not advisable to reconvert a printer that has been used with ordinary ink in a sublimation printer, because you should previously thoroughly clean the ink channel of the printer.

Place the printed side of the paper in contact with the surface of the object you want to customize. If you are decorating a cup, place the printed side of the paper in contact with the cup and tape it with thermal tape to keep the printed paper in the correct position.

Place the sublimable article with the paper printed on the transfer plate, which you have previously configured with the necessary temperature, pressure and time. Close the iron to apply heat. Sublimation occurs at this time: the sublimation ink is activated by heat and passes directly from solid to gaseous state, penetrating the surface of the object.

When the ironing time has elapsed, remove the article from the transfer iron with caution. We recommend using a protective glove because it reaches very high temperatures. And remove the paper with caution. The item is already sublimated and ready to give away.

It is important that you keep in mind that you can only sublimate on:
Polyester or a carrier incorporating a special polyester coating. It is impossible to sublimate a cotton t-shirt, although there are alternative systems to apply a similar technique on cotton.

White background because the sublimation inks are transparent and add to the color of the background / stand. The origin of sublimation is in the development of photography, and by affinity you can understand that photographs are always printed on white photographic paper (and never colored paper). In the same way if you sublimate on a white fabric, you will obtain colors faithful to the original image. If you sublimate on a fabric of color, the colors will appear altered.
